Can I bring a Baby Stroller, Car Seat or Baby Carriage on board?
NONE of these items are allowed due to strict safety regulations.

How long is the bar open?
The bar is open for all alcoholic beverages for the first 3 hours of the cruise. It opens at boarding time and closes 1 hour prior to the end of the cruise. To order or drink any alcoholic beverage you MUST be 21 or older with valid PHOTO ID.

Are there any alcoholic beverages that are NOT included in the Open Bar?
The only alcoholic beverages that are NOT included are Cordial Drinks and Cordial mixed Drinks. Bottled Champagne can be purchased for special celebrations. To order or drink any alcoholic beverage you MUST be 21 or older with valid PHOTO ID.

What time does Boarding begin?
Boarding time starts 15 minutes prior to scheduled departure of all cruises.

Do I need my Boarding Pass?
After you submit payment online if time permits you will be mailed your boarding passes for your party; otherwise your paid receipt MUST be used for admittance.

Can I bring on a Specialty Cake?
You may bring a cake on board. One of our staff members will place it in our galley until it is ready to be cut and served. PLEASE WRITE RESERVATION NAME ON THE BOX.

Can I bring a Camera on Board?
Guests are allowed to bring their own cameras. In addition we do sell disposable cameras at our bar for your convenience.

I need to cancel, what do I do?
Under our policy your purchase is final and non-refundable. We are happy to reschedule another available date within that sailing season. There is a re-booking charge and any additional price difference if you choose a cruise at a higher value. All reschedules MUST be done 72 hours prior to the cruise date. PLEASE CALL our office at 516-922-9214.

What is your Cancellation/Refund Policy?
Lady Liberty Cruises policy states that there are NO cancellations or refunds. In case of extreme situations PLEASE notify our office at 516-922-9214.

What happens if I miss the cruise?
The STERLING departs promptly at the designated cruise time. PLEASE give yourself ample time to arrive at the Marina.

Are children allowed on cruises?
Children are welcome on our cruises. A child rate is NOT available for our dinner cruises. Children between the ages of 3 & 12 are given a reduced rate on our Sunday Afternoon Harbor and Luncheon Harbor Cruises. Due to safety regulations children under 3 years of age are highly discouraged.

What credit cards do you accept?
We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover Card and American Express.

I do not have a credit card. CAN I make a reservation?
YES but you need to contact our office at 516-922-9214. A reservation can be made and advanced payment by check is required.

How long are the cruises?
All our regular cruises (Evening, Luncheon, Senior Citizen Luncheon & Sunday Afternoon) are 4 hours in duration.

What is the cruise route?
The STERLING departs from Manhasset Bay Marina in Port Washington and sails to the L.I. Sound viewing Long Island's historic Gold Coast and continues westward into historic New York Harbor with all its views including the Brooklyn Bridge, Empire State Building, UN, South Street Seaport, World Trade Center Site, Governor's Island & Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty and returns to Port Washington on the same route.

Is there dancing on board?
YES. Enjoy dancing on our large dance floor to a full variety of popular dance music. Selections may feature Rock, Oldies, Blues, Standards, Jazz, Motown, Line Dancing, Salsa, Country and current top chart favorites.

How many decks does the STERLING have? The STERLING has two decks - The Upper Deck and the Main Salon with a Forward Salon Area. The Upper Deck is where our DJ and large dance floor is located. Our Main Salon is where our bar, buffets and restrooms are located.

What is the dress attire for cruises?
We recommend casual BUT neat dress attire. We also strongly recommend comfortable foot wear. (Rubber soled)

What type of entertainment is on the cruises?
Our musical entertainment is provided by our DJ. We also offer a patriotic musical salute while we are at the Statue of Liberty.

How is the food prepared?
All our food is prepared on board in our fully equipped galley by our chef and kitchen staff and served buffet style by our professional service staff.

I have food allergies what should I do?
If you have food allergies PLEASE call our office at 516-922-9214 so we can discuss your concerns. We do offer a list of ingredients at our buffet stations for your review.

Are Gratuities included?
Bar Gratuities are accepted when ordering beverages. General gratuities are included in pricing.

Can I make a Group Reservation?
All groups of 25 or more MUST be done thru our office. PLEASE call 516-922-9214. What size groups can the STERLING accommodate? We accommodate groups up to 140. We are constantly opening new cruise dates so PLEASE check back often.

Is the STERLING handicapped accessible?
YES, we can accommodate wheelchairs. Wheelchairs must be less than 30 inches or collapsible. For boarding and disembarking our crew will assist you on the ramp. To make it easily accessible we only reserve the MAIN SALON for wheelchairs. PLEASE call our office at 516-922-9214 for notification purposes and any concerns.

What defines an individual guest booking?
Individual bookings are for 1 thru 24 people.

Do you have life preservers?
YES, the STERLING is Coast Guard certified with life preservers and all required life saving equipment including child life vests.

Do you offer Kosher meals?
We do NOT offer Kosher meals but a guest CAN bring a kosher meal on board because of religious restrictions. YOU MUST CALL OUR OFFICE and notify us prior to your cruise date 516-922-9214.

Do you offer vegetarian meals?
Our standard menus are buffet style and do offer some vegetarian choices. Our dinner buffet offers a hot pasta dish, potatoes, vegetables and green salad. Any concerns PLEASE contact our office at 516-922-9214.

Is parking provided?
Manhasset Bay Marina has ample parking. It has state of the art electronic security. All parking fees are included in the cruise pricing.

What payment options do I have?
We accept payment via Checks or Money Orders by mail. We also accept MasterCard, VISA, Discover Card & American Express. Call our office at 516-922-9214 for details.

What is the breakdown of all your cruise pricing?
Please click here for our cruise rates. Clients have the option of enhancing their cruise experience by selecting a cuisine and beverage package.

Are there phones on the STERLING?
The STERLING does NOT have phones for passenger availability. PLEASE be aware that most cellular services are available on the water. We do not cruise beyond on one mile from shore.

Do I need Photo ID for boarding?
YES, this is a Coast Guard requirement for Adults 18 and over. Your Photo ID and Boarding Pass are required at time of Boarding. PLEASE be aware Lady Liberty Cruises has the right to inspect all bags and/or packages prior to boarding.

How do I make a Reservation?
Reservations can be made by calling our office at 516-922-9214.

Do I use a Reservation Name?
YES, upon booking you provide us with your reservation name. When you board the STERLING our staff will direct you to your deck and then show you your assigned table(s)

Where are the restrooms?
The restrooms are located in our Main Salon.

Will I get seasick?
It is unlikely. We cruise in relatively calm bodies of water.

What is the cruising season?
Our cruise season runs from May thru the middle of October.

How is seating arranged?
Upon booking you have a choice of 3 seating locations. Upper Deck, Main Salon or Forward Salon. The majority of our tables accommodate either 4, 6, 8, 10 or 12 guests. Guests are sometimes seated with other parties particularly with groups numbering four or less.

Do you have cruises for Senior Citizens?
We have Senior Citizen Afternoon Harbor Cruises on selected Wednesdays from 11am - 3pm. Senior cruises offer table service NOT buffet style.

Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is allowed ONLY on the open portion of the STERLING'S bow.

Do you sail in inclement weather?
YES. We sail rain or shine. In case of severe weather conditions or upon the direction of the Coast Guard the STERLING will remain dockside. Contact our office at 516-922-9214 in case of severe weather warnings.

There is an individual in a wheelchair in our party. Do you accommodate wheelchairs?
YES, we can accommodate wheelchairs. Wheelchairs must be less than 30 inches or collapsible. At boarding and disembarking our crew will assist you on the ramp.
